Padraic Colum. As a collector of Irish folk tales, Colum translated many of them from Gaelic (the ancient Irish language) into English. Several of these tales are weaved together in this epic adventure. At first the stories all seem to be disconnected, but in the end, they are creatively and delightfully tied together.
