Tissue Paper Hearts Craft

This easy craft looks beautiful hanging in the window. It can hang vertically or you can drape it like a garland.

Tissue Paper Hearts Craft for Valentine's DaySupplies:

Black Construction Paper
Tissue Paper (Variety of Colors)
Glue
Ribbon

Directions:

1. Fold black construction paper in half, and cut out half of a heart shape along the fold. Cut a slightly smaller half of a heart shape inside of it. Unfold and you should have a nice heart frame.

2. Use your heart frame as a template to make at least one other frame of the same shape (you will need a front side and a back side for each heart). You can make all of your hearts the same shape, or you can cut a variety of shapes.

3. Use your heart template to trace the shape onto tissue paper. Cut the heart shape out of tissue paper and glue it between two black construction paper heart frames of the same size. Repeat this process to make as many hearts as you like.

4. Attach the hearts to a ribbon and hang them in front of a window, so that the light can shine through the tissue paper.
