Easter Pancakes Recipe

The below recipe is for our favorite Bisquick pancakes; it incorporates the Easter symbol of the egg. Visit our Easter Symbols to learn more about the symbolism and meaning of Easter eggs.

Easter PancakesPancake Ingredients:

2 cups of Bisquick mix
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 T. sugar
1 t. baking powder
1 T. lemon juice
1 t. vanilla

Cream Cheese Syrup Ingredients:

1/2 c. cream cheese
1/4 c. syrup (boysenberry and/or strawberry)

Directions:

1. Mix pancake ingredients together with whisk. Allow the batter to sit for a few minutes to fluff.

2. Warm griddle on medium heat, melt butter and pour batter into oval shapes. Flip when batter looks bubbly.

3. For cream cheese syrup, mix together until smooth (you can add milk for desired consistency). To decorate eggs, place syrup mixture in a ziploc bag. Cut a small hole on the bottom corner of the bag and pipe onto egg.
