Green Bean Casserole Recipe

The is the classic Campbell’s Soup Recipe for green bean casserole. It is a delicious traditional side dish for Thanksgiving.
Green Bean Casserole
Note: This recipe is for a 1.5 quart casserole dish. I usually double it to fit in a 9×13 baking dish.

Ingredients:

1 can (10 3/4 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1/8 teaspoon pepper
4 cups green beans*
1-1/3 cups french fried onions
*You can use fresh, frozen, or canned. If canned, make sure to drain.

Directions:

1. Whisk together the soup, milk, and pepper in a 1.5 quart casserole dish.

2. Stir in beans and 2/3 cup of the fried onions. Bake for about 25 minutes at 350 degrees.

3. Top with the remaining 2/3 cup fried onions, and bake an additional 5 minutes (until onions are lightly browned).
