Good Friday Lights Out

Good Friday Lights Out Easter TraditionConsider keeping all the lights off in your home from Friday evening until Sunday morning. Make sure you are prepared with plenty of candles around the house. You may even want to tape down the light switches to help everyone remember to keep the lights off.

This can be a powerful way for kids to experience how long Jesus was in the tomb. And don’t worry, you don’t have to keep all the electricity off, just the lights. You can spend the evenings reading, singing, or watching movies (with themes about Christ) by candlelight.
