I Spy Jesus

One of our favorite family traditions is to spend an evening driving around admiring Christmas lights and decorations. We started making this tradition more meaningful by playing “I Spy Jesus” and trying to find a house that somehow displayed Jesus as the “reason for the season.” I got the idea from Women Living Well to have my kids color manger scenes to leave in the mailboxes (or at the doors) of people that honor Jesus in their Christmas displays. My family spotted this simple and beautiful display with a sign that said “Celebrate Jesus, the Light of the World” (sorry about the quality of the picture — I only had my phone camera with me):
