July 4th Kabobs Recipe

For the 4th of July, my family traditionally eats hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch and these delicious kabobs for dinner. You can use traditional vegetables or limit your choices to the patriotic colors of red, white and blue. Enjoy!

Patriotic KabobsKabobsIngredients:

Steak or Chicken, cut in 1 1/2″ cubes

Tomatoes, cut in 1 1/2″ pieces

Red Peppers, cut in 1 1/2″ pieces

Onions, red or white, cut in 1 1/2″ pieces

Zucchini, sliced

Blue Potatoes, cut in half

Teriyaki Marinade

Olive Oil

Directions:

1. Marinade all kabob pieces in teriyaki (except for potatoes) for atleast 30 minutes.

2. Microwave potatoes at 2 minute intervals until tender. Toss in olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

3. Place on items on kabobs and grill until done.
