July 4th Kabobs Recipe
For the 4th of July, my family traditionally eats hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch and these delicious kabobs for dinner. You can use traditional vegetables or limit your choices to the patriotic colors of red, white and blue. Enjoy!
Steak or Chicken, cut in 1 1/2″ cubes
Tomatoes, cut in 1 1/2″ pieces
Red Peppers, cut in 1 1/2″ pieces
Onions, red or white, cut in 1 1/2″ pieces
Blue Potatoes, cut in half
1. Marinade all kabob pieces in teriyaki (except for potatoes) for atleast 30 minutes.
2. Microwave potatoes at 2 minute intervals until tender. Toss in olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
3. Place on items on kabobs and grill until done.
