Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip CookiesIngredients

1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup canned pumpkin
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)

Directions:

1. Beat butter and sugar together until creamy.
2. Add egg, vanilla and pumpkin and beat until smooth.
3. Add dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and pumpkin pie spice) to creamed mixture.
4. Add chocolate chips and nuts.
5. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet, and bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes (do not undercook or the cookies will be gooey).
