Cranberry Jello Recipe

This is a fun way to dress up the traditional cranberry side dish. It is a delicious treat for Christmas!
Cranberry Jello

Ingredients:

1 package (6 oz) raspberry Jell-o
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple
1 can (14 oz) whole berry cranberry sauce
1 cup crushed walnuts
1 cup sour cream

Directions:

1. Dissolve Jell-o in boiling water.

2. Add pineapple (with juice), cranberry sauce, and walnuts to Jell-o mixture and mix well.

3. Pour half of the mixture into a 9×13 glass dish, cover, and refrigerate. Leave the other half covered at room temperature. Note that both layers are fairly thin.

4. Once the Jell-o in the refrigerator is set, cover with sour cream. Pour the remaining Jell-o mixture on top, and store in the refrigerator until it is set and you are ready to serve it.

NOTE: I doubled the recipe and served it in an extra deep 9×13 casserole dish.
